Petak Umpet/Hide and seek

Petak Umpet or Hide and seek is a traditional folk play common in all corners of Indonesia from Sabang to Merauke, since old times. Anyone can participate, but participants usually play between five to ten people, because it is looking for friends who were hiding, it is not too much to be part of this game. Of all the players will play hompipa until they run out and only two people. After only two people, then each perform suit and the loser becomes the seeker friends are hiding. The search closed eyes or stick to one medium (walls, trees, poles, etc.) as a means fortress.
